Subject Prospective student-athlete interested in New Mexico State University
Hi Coach Baarts, I'm a soccer player, and I'm interested in playing soccer at New Mexico State University. My highlights are here: [paste a link to your highlights here] I would love to learn what you look for in a player at my position. If there is a game, camp or ID event where you could see me play, I would be grateful to hear about it. Thank you for your time.

What the class of 2027 column is based on
- 1 of 3 listed goalkeepers is a senior or graduate.
- 4 of 13 listed defenders are seniors or graduates.
- 1 of 9 listed midfielders is a senior or graduate.
- 2 of 10 listed forwards are seniors or graduates.
Good roster data: 31 of 31 listed players show both a class year and a position. A player listed at two positions appears in both rows and counts as half in each when we compare depth. Likely, Possible and Stocked are the projected need at that position for that class (likely need, possible need, looks stocked). “May leave” counts seniors and graduates for 2027, today’s juniors for 2028 and today’s sophomores for 2029.
A roster cannot show transfers in or out, redshirts and extra eligibility, players already committed in an incoming class, walk-ons or position changes. Only the coaching staff knows what the program is looking for. How the projection works →
