- 5 of 11 listed defenders are seniors or graduates.
- 3 of 8 listed midfielders are seniors or graduates. A typical Division I men’s roster lists 10.
- 1 of 8 listed forwards is a senior or graduate.
Good roster data: 30 of 30 listed players show both a class year and a position. A player listed at two positions appears in both rows and counts as half in each when we compare depth. Likely, Possible and Stocked are the projected need at that position for that class (likely need, possible need, looks stocked). “May leave” counts seniors and graduates for 2027, today’s juniors for 2028 and today’s sophomores for 2029.
A roster cannot show transfers in or out, redshirts and extra eligibility, players already committed in an incoming class, walk-ons or position changes. Only the coaching staff knows what the program is looking for. How the projection works →
